Dragon Hall is a medieval mercer's hall, built by Robert Toppes in 1430. It is open to the public and contains some fine examples of wood carving from the fifteenth century, including a spectacular timber crown-post roof and a rare carved and painted dragon. Excavations in the cellars show evidence of 1,000 years of human habitation on the site.
