Quotations from The Garden of Cyrus form the foundation for a strolling performance on King Street.
Evoking the spirit of Browne's words and his fascination with the number five, I have embroidered a series of gloves in the manner of Persian miniatures. These depict garden scenes and also plants referred to in the text, some of which may be found growing wild around Dragon Hall. The gloves are dropped, as if accidentally, on the pavement or placed, as if found. Passers-by will hear the faint strains of Persian piano music played by Nirvana Farhoumand Afroukteh
